Just outside of the neighborhood is the Xplor Preschool preschool and school-age care, perfect for working adults or those that want to get a head start on the child’s education.
Within the community itself is the Tom Allen Junior Park. This park has a walking trail, playgrounds, and large open space, perfect for playing games or throwing the ball for your four-legged friend. The McKinney skate park is just around the corner as is the Apex Center, featuring aquatics, fitness classes, summer camps, parties and rentals, and more.
The Cascades neighborhood is surrounded by amenities. Over on Custer Road are several shops and restaurants and then just north on Eldorado Parkway are restaurants, cafés, modern conveniences and a lot more. Most of the residents in the Cascades are no more than five minutes to most of their necessities.
